Animal Tracks by Mountain Man

Mountain Man are a trio of girls who sing haunting harmonies and two chord songs. Here's the one that has brought them to Australia's attention. I know we're in love with Americana at the moment, but don't forget AUSTRALIANA - our story is harder and grittier but worth preserving and telling!!

ANIMAL TRACKS – MOUNTAIN MAN

            Am         C
We'll drink horse bark root beer
    Am               C
And sit on your back stairs
         Am             C
And I'll whisper in your hair
Am              C
In the summer air
Am              C       C
In the summer air

                   Am            C
And the sweat will roll down our backs
           Am           C
And we'll follow animal tracks
     Am
To a tree in the woods
      C                        Am
And a hole in the leaves we'll see
    C                     Am           Am
The bright baby eyes of a chickadee

             C
How will I know
             Am
How will I know
             C
How will I know
             Am
How will I know

                   Am            C
And the sweat will roll down our backs
           Am           C
And we'll follow animal tracks
     Am
To a tree in the woods
      C                        Am
And a hole in the leaves we'll see
    C                     Am
The bright baby eyes of a chickadee
    C                     Am           Am
The bright baby eyes of a chickadee

It's a Heartache

I'll let you in on a secret, I never liked this song, in fact I really hated it............. until I heard the Wellington Ukulele Orchestra's version.

It's A Heartache Bonnie Tyler [F] (From Richard G's Songbook)
Hear this song at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8VGQTtENSs
From: Richard G’s Ukulele Songbook www.scorpex.net/uke.htm
It's a [F] heartache nothing but a [Am] heartache
Hits you when it's [Bb] too late hits you when you're [F] down [C]
It's a [F] fool's game nothing but a [Am] fool's game
Standing in the [Bb] cold rain feeling like a [F] clown [C]
It's a [F] heartache nothing but a [Am] heartache
Love him till your [Bb] arms break then he lets you [F] down [C]
It ain't [Bb] right with love to [C] share
When you [Am] find he doesn't [Dm] care for [C] you
It ain't [Bb] wise to need some[C]one
As much as [Am] I depended [Dm] on [C] you
It's a [F] heartache nothing but a [Am] heartache
Hits you when it's [Bb] too late hits you when you're [F] down [C]
It's a [F] fool's game nothing but a [Am] fool's game
Standing in the [Bb] cold rain feeling like a [F] clown [C]
It's a [F] heartache nothing but a [Am] heartache
Love him till your [Bb] arms break then he lets you [F] down [C]
It ain't [Bb] right with love to [C] share
When you [Am] find he doesn't [Dm] care for [C] you
It ain't [Bb] wise to need some[C]one
As much as [Am] I depended [Dm] on [C] you
Oh it's a [F] heartache nothing but a [Am] heartache
Love him till your [Bb] arms break then he lets you [F] down [C]
It’s a [F] fool’s game nothing but a [Am] fool's game
Standing in the [Bb] cold rain feeling like a [F] clown [C]
It's a [F] heartache

Bizarre Love Triangle

This is a bloody Ace song and sounds excellent as a disco version on ukulele and guitar, but does anyone know what the lyric means?

Bizarre Love Triangle
New Order

(Fmaj7)Every time I (G)think of you
I get a (Em)shot right through into a (F)bolt of blue
(F)It's no problem of mine but it's a (G)problem I find
(Em)Living a life that I (F)can't leave behind
(F)There's no sense in (G)telling me
The (Em)wisdom of a fool won't (F)set you free
But that's the (F)way that it goes and it's what (G)nobody knows
And (Em)every day my con(F)fusion grows

CHORUS
(Fmaj7)Every time I (G)see you falling
I (Em)get down on my (F)knees and pray
I'm (F)waiting for that (G)final moment
You (Em)say the words that (F)I can't say

(Fmaj7)I feel fine and (G)I feel good
I(Em)feel like I (F)never should
Whenever I get this way I just don't (G)know what to say
(Em)Why can't we be ourselves like we were(F)yesterday
(F)I'm not sure what (G)this could mean
I (Em)don't think you're (F)what you seem
I do admit to myself that if I (G)hurt someone else
(Em)Then I'd never see just what we're (F)meant to be

Chorus (x2)
